Atlanta is the cultural and economic hub of the Atlanta metropolitan area in addition to being the capital of Georgia. With a minor piece of the city stretching into DeKalb County in the east, the city is primarily situated in Fulton County. Atlanta boasts one of the highest per-capita LGBT populations, third only to San Francisco and Seattle. However, the diversity of the city extends beyond its inhabitants. We would consider Atlanta to be a reasonably reasonable city to live in given that its cost of living is 2% lower than the national average. You are paying to live in one of the most coveted areas of the country, after all. Housing costs make up a sizable portion of the city’s cost of living. Homebuyers are opting to live in the suburbs rather than the city in this competitive real estate market, but with such diversity, you won’t have any trouble locating a lovely home in the neighborhood. In comparison to other big cities, Houses for rent in Atlanta can even cost less. Here are 5 features specific to Atlanta, Georgia.

    1. Atlanta Beltline

One of the best outdoor activities in Atlanta is taking a stroll along the Beltline! In the place of the previous 22-mile railway loop in the city center, there is now a paved promenade. One of the biggest and most varied urban rehabilitation initiatives in the country is the Atlanta Beltline! The Eastside Trail is finished, but the overall project is still under construction. Here, you can enjoy strolling among beautifully maintained gardens, parks, and works of art. This is a must-see attraction while you’re in town and a very exciting development in Atlanta!

    1. Coca Cola

This engaging museum honors John S. Pemberton, a pharmacist who created the well-known beverage in downtown Atlanta in 1886. This place honors the bubbly drink with a ton of fascinating installations and exhibits! The 4-D cinema, a manual bottling equipment, and of course the tasting room with over 100 different Coca-Cola flavors from around the world are highlights. Visiting this entertaining museum is undoubtedly among the greatest indoor activities in Atlanta.

    1. Street Art

The beautifully decorated streets are one of the nicest ways that this creative city expresses itself. They all explore various communities and each one has something wholly original to offer. East Atlanta, Little Five Points, Downtown, Cabbagetown, and Edgewood Avenue are a few of the well-known street art hotspots. One of the programs also includes a visit to the Eastside route along the Atlanta BeltLine! This is a fantastic approach to have a better understanding of Atlanta’s streets.

    1. Botanical Gardens

The 30-acre Atlanta Botanical Garden, the largest public park in the city, is a very spectacular botanical complex. One of the nicest things to do in Atlanta in the summer is to visit this lovely location and enjoy a sunny day there! Another beautiful area is the Japanese garden.

    1. Oakland Cemetery

Although going to a cemetery might not be at the top of most travelers’ lists of things to do in Atlanta, this location is definitely worth going to! A truly old location, the cemetery contains numerous illustrious tombs and headstones. Beyond this, the facility is immaculately looked after and maintained. If you’re interested in learning more about the intriguing tales and legends associated with this location, guided tours of the cemetery are offered. If nothing else, exploring the iconic headstones and taking in the tranquil atmosphere of the cemetery are two of the nicest things to do in Atlanta alone.
