1. Narayanagiri:
Narayanagiri, an attractive site for night hiking near Bangalore, attracts tourists since kayaks can be rented nearby.
The trip to the peak isn’t tough; but, because of the deep fissures, you’ll have to step cautiously in several areas of the mountain. You’ll have a fantastic view of the entire town of Ramanagaram from the summit of the mountain.

2. Ramanagara:
Ramanagara is a tiny town in Karnataka located outside of Bangalore. Ramanagara offers a variety of short excursions, including one to the location where the movie Sholay was filmed! These hikes are ideal for the weekend because the ascent doesn’t take long, unless you choose to go slowly.
Some of them will be over in less an hour. Ramadevara, Yatirajagiri, Revana Siddeshwara Hill, and Ramagiri Hill are all popular hiking destinations in the vicinity.

3. Hill of Savandurga:
The Savandurga range comprises of two hills, Karigudda and Billigudda, and is considered one of India’s greatest monolith hills. Two temples stand at the foot of the hills. The ascent leads to a magnificent fort reported to have been erected by Kempe Gowda II, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view over Bangalore’s outskirts.
You don’t have to worry about getting lost here because the site is usually bustling with hikers from all around Bangalore and India. Climbing to the top is simple thanks to the monolith.

4. Hills of Nandi:
To reach the summit of the Nandi Hills, you can hike from either the south or the north side of the mountains. The northern side has a decent road and is a little busier because cyclists and bikers use it as well. Take the southern way to the peak if you want a true challenge.
From the top, you can see the outside of Tipu Sultan’s summer house and take beautiful shots. At the peak of the mountain, there is also a temple. You may even stay in Nandi Hills for the rest of the day and return just in the evening.

5. Hill of Devarayanadurga
Devarayanadurga is an excellent excursion for the whole family, with Buddha Purnima celebrated with great pomp in March and April (including a car festival). Because there are three layers, this is the case. The walk is quite simple up to the lowest point, and little significant exertion is required.
The Lakshmi-Narasimha Swamy Temple is located at this elevation (at higher levels, the Yoga Narasimha and Bhoga Narasimha temples can be found).
A natural spring and a small pond may be found here. The walk becomes more difficult as you ascend the mountain, so if you’re not in good physical shape, don’t go any farther.

6. Hill of Madhugiri:
Madhugiri Hill, Karnataka’s second-largest monolith hill, is one of the easiest and more leisurely hikes. There are stairs leading all the way to the top of the hill, making trekking here relatively straightforward. A fort (Madhugiri Fort) sits atop the hill and is steeped in Karnataka’s history.
Walking at a moderate pace, the journey will take you roughly two hours; many expert trekkers will take even less time.

7. Bheemeshwari:
The trip up the Bheemeshwari hill, which is every trekker’s dream, provides panoramic vistas of nature. This hike is a mixed bag, with some simple portions and others that are really difficult.
The scenery is beautiful throughout, with abundant vegetation and animals; it’s especially good for bird viewing. There are a couple watchtowers that provide excellent views of the surrounding region.

8. Hill of Skandagiri:
Skandagiri is a hill in the Chikballapur district of Karnataka. It’s a challenging hike that takes around five hours to accomplish, but it’s quite popular among hikers. Many groups, including some novices, will be trekking to the summit.
The track is easy to follow at first, but as you climb higher, you’ll have to navigate a maze of thick plants. The trek, however, is well worth it because the views from the summit are breathtaking. Check out the historic fort that originally belonged to Tipu Sultan at the summit if you’re interested in history or architecture.

9. Anthargange:
The Anthargange is a cave exploration destination as well as a great place to go hiking. You get the best of both worlds on the hill. If you enjoy difficulties, the trek to the summit of this 1712-meter peak is for you.
To get to the summit, you’ll have to bend, twist, and crawl your way through the difficult course. It’s a challenging but short hike that’s also not far from the city. So, if you only have a few hours and need to get out of town, this is where you should go.

10. Kunti Betta
Kunti Betta is a renowned trekking path that attracts both amateur and professional hikers. The climb to the summit is scenic, and you’ll see photographers carrying enormous lenses up there as well. In addition, it is historically significant.
Many people think that this hill was formerly home to the Pandavas and Kunti. Depending on what time you get at the top of the hill, you may enjoy a campfire or simply marvel at the beautiful sunset or dawn. This mountain will take you around five hours to climb at a reasonable pace.
